General terms of the online store

The products in the online store are sold by Usva Cosmetics (business ID 3225801-4). We sell products to adults who are private individuals. The prices of the products include value-added tax (VAT).


Ordering

Products are generally ordered through the shopping cart at www.usvacosmetics.fi. All orders are confirmed via email, which will include the order price, shipping costs, and the products ordered. Receiving the order confirmation requires providing an email address during the ordering process. The customer agrees to the terms and conditions in effect at the time of each order.


Payment Methods

The payment processing service and payment service provider is Klarna Oy (2247127-6), in collaboration with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Klarna Oy will appear as the recipient of the payment on your bank statement or card invoice and will forward the payment to the merchant. Products and their shipping costs are paid at the time of the order. The following payment methods are available in the online store:

Shipping Methods and Shipping Costs

We manufacture and ship products every business day. Shipping costs are the same regardless of the size of the package. We aim to deliver products as quickly as possible, within 1-3 business days from the order. We make the products by hand in small batches to ensure they arrive fresh to customers; during busy times or when a product is out of stock, delivery may take a little longer. If there is a significant delay in delivery for any reason, we will contact you.

Shipping costs include postal and packaging fees. We ship orders via either Posti or Matkahuolto, and you can track your shipment with the tracking number provided in the order confirmation. You will choose the shipping method at checkout.

Orders over 49 euros are eligible for free delivery with Posti's Postipaket or Matkahuolto's Lähellä-paketti.

We offer the following shipping methods to our customers:

Posti – Postipaketti – 3.90 EUR

The package will be delivered to the parcel machine or post office of your choice. If you do not select a pickup point during the order, it will be sent to the nearest pickup point to your provided address. Once the package has arrived, you will receive a notification from Posti. Note that Posti will primarily notify you of package arrivals via text message or email. A paper notice will only be sent if you have not provided a phone number or email address. Posti – Home Delivery – 9.90 EUR

The package will be delivered to your home. It is important to provide a phone number with your order so that Posti can call and arrange a delivery time. If the recipient cannot be reached, a contact request will be left. If the recipient cannot be reached, the package will be sent to the nearest post office for pickup. The package will be held at the post office for 7 days, after which it will be returned to the sender.

Matkahuolto – Lähellä-paketti – 3.90 EUR

The package will be delivered to the parcel machine or pickup point of your choice. If you do not select a pickup point during the order, it will be sent to the nearest pickup point to your provided address. Once the package has arrived, you will receive a notification from Matkahuolto via text message or email. Shipments will be held for 7 days. Uncollected packages will be sent back to the sender. Matkahuolto – Home Delivery – 9.90 EUR

The package will be delivered to your home. It is important to provide a phone number so that Matkahuolto can contact you to arrange a delivery time. If the recipient cannot be reached, the package will be returned to the nearest Matkahuolto service point for pickup, or a new delivery can be arranged.


Cancellation Terms

In remote sales, products are subject to a 14-day right of return under the Consumer Protection Act, starting from the receipt of the order. Regardless of the shipping method chosen, you can return the product free of charge as a customer return. The right of return applies only to unopened, unused, and resellable products in their original, undamaged packaging. If you wish to return a product, please contact us first via email or phone. Provide us with your order number and the product you wish to return. We will provide you with further instructions for returning the product.

Please note that leaving the package uncollected at the service point or automatic machine, or refusing to accept it, is not the same as returning the order. We charge a fee of 15 euros for all uncollected shipments to cover delivery and handling costs. The fee corresponds to the actual costs of the return, delivery, and handling.


Issues with Delivery and Faulty Products

If a product is lost or damaged during shipping, or does not otherwise match your order, you must report the issue within 14 days of receiving the product. Once we receive the complaint, we will contact you as soon as possible. If the package is damaged during shipping, a claim must be made immediately with Posti or Matkahuolto, depending on the chosen delivery method.

Basis and Purpose of the Register

Personal data is processed for maintaining and managing customer relationships, such as necessary communications related to the customer relationship. We primarily collect personal data from the customer during online store orders and returns. Additionally, we may collect customer data through various forms, competitions, and raffles, or similar methods.

Processing of Personal Data

Usva Cosmetics processes all personal data in the customer register confidentially, and personal data is always securely protected in electronic form. Personal data is used to gather orders and create address labels for individuals who have placed an order. Data in the customer register is kept only for the duration of the customer relationship. However, order, billing, and payment data is stored in accordance with the legal requirements for accounting records. Unnecessary data is disposed of. The data in the register is never disclosed to third parties, nor will it be transferred outside the EU.

Rights Related to the Processing of Personal Data

Customers may contact the data controller at any time regarding matters related to the register and review the personal data stored in the register. If desired, they can also request that their data not be used entirely. In such cases, their data will be appropriately and securely deleted. Additionally, customers can request corrections to their information if the data is incomplete, incorrect, or outdated.
